The new craze is having a life
coach. But is it for me?
Do I need a life coach?
“My life is fine,” your saying
to yourself, “it has its ups and downs but overall it’s ok”. But what if
life could be better? There is a dream inside you that is waiting to burst out
and greet the world. Perhaps there are little changes that you want to accomplish
but you’re not sure where to start or you need help to keep focused. That’s why
you need a life coach.
What is a life coach? A life coach is someone who will
be there for you. Someone who will support you through your decisions and help talk
you through your options. A life coach works with you one on one- keeping all
discussions confidential. Whether it’s achieving a goal or making a change
in your life a life coach can help.
How will a life coach help me? When you hire a life coach like me,
you have chosen to make a change to your life and not continue with business as
usual. Most of my sessions are done over the phone but in person sessions are
possible. I start each session by clarifying what you want to take away from
the session which is taking your overall goal and breaking it down into smaller
bite size pieces. From there I ask you thought provoking questions to help you
figure out what your next steps are. Sometimes it’s a matter of thinking
outside the box and sometimes it’s a matter of just changing your thought
process. All of which is to help you get closer to your overall goal. By the end
of each session you will have a list of things to do for the next time that we
meet. Soon you will be closer to your goals- it’s an exciting process.
