For young Jewish twentysomethings and thirtysomethings:
Livnot U'Lehibanot has been offering Israel Experience Programs for 20somethings and 30somethings for 25 years, combining hiking, studying and community service in a program designed to encourage young Jewish adults with little or no Jewish background or affiliation to explore their Jewish heritage.
This year, Livnot will be offering a variety of programs, including a 5-month Hike and Explore program from January through May 2005 , 2 week programs in the winter (including programs for birthright israel-eligible individuals), thirtysomething programs in the winter and spring, and an on-going volunteer program in Jerusalem for people of all ages and Jewish backgrounds
Thanks! I posted the link. This is definitely a friendly forum!
By the way, if anyone is interested in reading about the program from the viewpoint of the participants, take a look at the www.birthrightisrael.com forum under "Q & A about the Trip".
A number of our alumni have posted their impressions of the experience. Laurie
My girlfriend went on the BirthrightIsrael trip and had a very positive experience. _________________ That's just my personal opinion I could be wrong.
