But who didn't in those days?") comes back to see "The Passion," his first trip back to Earth in 2000 years. But when he realizes he has arrived on Earth late Friday afternoon, and that the world thinks that he is God, he has to find a shul for Shabbos and set the record straight. We need extras for a short scene in an Upper West Side Syanagogue. The scene will be shot in the 3rd week of June, probably on a Saturday night, and will last only 2 - 3 hours. Light refreshments will be provided. Extras will receive credit on the film, which will play in film Festivals next fall and spring in NY and LA, and you will be supporting a good natured Jewish response to "The Passion." DETAILS The Jewish Teacher Corps is recruiting Jewish men and women who will have graduated by June 2003 with at least a BA, to serve primarily as Judaic Studies teachers in modern Orthodox and community day schools (middle school and high schools). Day schools will be located in such communities as Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, South Florida, Cleveland and Scottsdale/Phoenix. The Jewish Teacher Corps Fellows will serve for one or two years (there will be stipends for the summer between first and second year for those who choose this option) and will receive the standard first-year teachers' salary and benefits for the school in which they are teaching. Fellows will receive training via an orientation, self-directed study, observance of master teachers, and a one-month intensive summer training institute (in New York). In addition, Fellows will receive personal mentoring from a mentor (trained by The Jewish Teacher Corps) throughout their service.
